Chaplain Councell assumed duties as the Director of ACM on 1 May 2008 after serving as the Associate Director since 1 December 2005. During more than four years in the U.S. Army Reserve and 32 years of active duty as a U.S. Army Chaplain, he maintained active pastoral involvement in the Church, completed a year of Clinical Pastoral Education (parish model) and earned an additional master's degree in counseling. Chaplain Councell sees chaplains, who share God's love in institutions, organizations and situations often restricted to others, as trusted and accountable stewards worthy of enabling support from their Church. Besides his departmental responsibilities, he is the primary contact for community , corrections and military-related chaplaincy ministries. He also directs and oversees the National Service Organization chapter of ACM, and is the Chairman of the Whitecoat Foundation Board of Directors. |

Chaplain Ceballos was elected as the Associate Director of ACM at the 2008 General Conference Springs meetings and assumed his duties 1 June 2008. Mario holds a Doctor of Ministries degree on Religion Culture and Society from Boston University. He is a board-certified chaplain by the Association of Professional Chaplains. In addition, he also serves as a chaplain in the United States Navy Reserve with the rank of Commander. Before coming to the General Conference, Marion served as Vice-President of Spiritual Services and Mission Outreach at Kettering Adventist Healthcare. His passion is for service, ministry and spiritual/pastoral care. He believes in training and nurturing ministers serving God in all aspects of ministry, and especially the specialized field of chaplaincy. Email: CeballosM@gc.Adventist.org |

Dina Guzman-Muldoon, Senior Office Assistant Dina Guzman-Muldoon transferred into the ACM Department Staff as Senior Office Assistant during October 2006 after working in the General Conference since 1989. |

Deena Bartel-Wagner began editing ACM journals in 2006 and has been instrumental in changing them from a newsletter into a professional magazine. She is the spouse of an Adventist minister in the New York Conference and has extensive background in communications and journalism. |
